Our classes offer something for everyone.
Dynamic Vinyasa - This is an invigorating vinyasa class with strong emphasis on breath to movement. This class will have a little bit of everything from heart opening backbends to stretchy cool downs and will always have an arc or peak experience. While this class is dynamic, we always recommend you make it your own and take what you need from the experience.
Slow & Flow - This is a gentle vinyasa class. Prepare to slow things down a notch (or two) and be with your breath and body. The style of this sequencing is designed to give you a deeper more mindful experience. If you are a beginner and are unsure where to start, this is the perfect class for you.
Deep Rest Restorative - Restorative yoga is a series of shapes that support your body, allowing it to rest and heal. Props are always used to enable the release of mind and body tension. Our classes always begin and end with a meditation to give you the ultimate blissful experience.
Strength and Stretch - This is a vinyasa-inspired class with a twist. The first half consists of a flow-like sequence with added holds or pulses. Think Virabhadrasana II (Warrior II) but with arm movement, or Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon) with a Shiva squat. The movements are slow and controlled to help you build endurance in your mind and body. The second half of the class is gentle stretching to show your body some love.
Hatha (Ha “sun” tha “moon”) yoga is a set of practices put in place to achieve mind-body-spirit union through asana, mudra and pranayama. In the West what is commonly referred to yoga is actually Hatha yoga. Our Hatha classes focus greatly on these traditional, mindful practices that balance the body. In these classes students will experience more holds and less breath to movement (hardly any chaturanga, upward facing dog to downward facing dog movement). Hatha yoga allows the student to go deeper within and in the pose itself.
